One of the best techniques for winning money, is having and maintaining a blog. But it is not a Blogger blog. It must be something good and in most times, not free.

You should start by buying a good domain and hosting. Find a good and cheap hosting, maybe with a good ammount of bandwidth. You can start on Skimpyhost for as low as $10/year.

After seting up a Wordpress blog with a nice design, you can start monetizing it. Read the tips.

Tip #1: Register for Google AdSense or BidVertiser. Both websites allow you to publish ads into your website/blog and everytime someone clicks them, you’ll receive money. This is the most used feature but let’s explore some others.

Tip #2: Selling ads space. If you have a good (good means visited, with traffic) blog you can sell some space for ads. Imagine there is a company that wants to advertise they’re product on your blog. Talk to them asap and decide for how much the space is worth.

Tip #3: Join some affiliate programs and advertise the product on your blog. Don’t just advertise it. Make sure you do a decent review so people will be interested on it.

Tip #4: Get some Wordpress plugins that automatically submit your blog posts to your Twitter account. This will increase your website exposure and you’ll get more targeted traffic.
